Determine your triggers and start feeling fabulous again
Have you been diagnosed with IBS, or experiencing bloating, excess wind, gas, abdominal discomfort, constipation or diarrhea? Or perhaps you get migraines, reflux, rashes, itchy skin or sinus issues and don’t know why?

It is possible you have a food intolerance.

At Peak Health Nutrition we specialise in Food intolerances and can help people with:

  • Natural food chemical sensitivity (salicylates, amines, glutamate).
  • Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
  • FODMAP intolerance
  • Fructose malabsorption
  • Lactose intolerance
  • Coeliac disease

The Peak Health Nutrition Food Intolerances Program can be tailored to any one of the above food intolerances. This program is designed to assist you to investigate any food intolerances and implement dietary change to get you feeling fabulous again.  If a chemical or FODMAP intolerance is suspected you will be placed on an elimination diet (e.g. FODMAP Elimination diet or Chemical Elimination diet) this will then be followed by a series of “food challenges” which help pinpoint which group of foods play a role in your symptoms (and just as importantly which ones don't!). We will then help you to work out your own individual tolerance to the problem foods, so that your diet can be less restrictive and easier to follow.

Ultimately food intolerances should be about moderation in the long-term, not complete restriction. You only need to restrict initially to work out what you need to moderate. Once the problem foods and your individual tolerance level have been identified your dietitian will work with you to build a healthy balanced diet that is nutritionally adequate so you aren't missing out on important nutrients when you take out certain foods.
